Abstract
Menstruation is a natural physiological process in the female reproductive system, which marks the maturation of the reproductive organs. Menstruation is characterized by the discharge of blood from the vagina. Adolescent girls are prone to menstrual cycle disorders. Menstrual cycle abnormalities are often found, especially in late adolescence. According to 2018 WHO data, 80% of women worldwide experience irregular menstruation. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the regularity of menstruation in female college students. The research method used a phenomenological approach with data collection through questionnaires and field observations of female college students from various universities in Indonesia. The results of this study conclude that there is a complex interaction of various factors that influence the regularity of the menstrual cycle. This analysis emphasizes the relationship between fast food consumption and high fat intake, sleep quality, and stress levels on the menstrual cycle of female students. This study highlights the importance of a healthy lifestyle for female students, starting from paying attention to fat intake or fast food consumption, improving sleep quality, and managing stress to maintain reproductive health. By adopting a healthy lifestyle, female students can improve their quality of life and reproductive health.
