Main Article Content
Abstract
This study discusses the effectiveness of e-Government in supporting digital-based public services. Using a literature review method, the study analyzes academic literature related to the concept, implementation, and success factors of e-Government. The results show that the implementation of e-Government can improve service accessibility, transparency, operational efficiency, and public participation in the governance process. The success of implementation is influenced by the readiness of digital infrastructure, human resource competencies, inter-agency integration, and sustainable policies and innovations. Despite its great potential, e-Government also faces challenges such as infrastructure disparities, low digital literacy, suboptimal inter-agency coordination, and data security issues. This study emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen infrastructure, improve human resource capacity, encourage public participation, and ensure consistent policies so that digital public services can run effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.
